The title of the book says it all: Didache means "teaching. This is not just random teaching, but the teaching left by the apostles. A kind of summary of Christian beliefs. It was written in the first century A.D., but got lost for centuries. More or less by accident, it was recovered in the 19th century and now it is coming out in a brand new translation.
