Superstition, vampires and robber priests

I read all about bishops in our anarchist pamphlets, such as The Superstition and Vampire and Robber Priests. From this I understood that bishops are strange, terrible old men who keep a terrible secret hidden from mankind. However, I was misinformed. When I first appeared in a parlor in bishop's clothes and cried out in a thundering voice "On your knees, on your knees, sinners!" they somehow discovered that I was not a bishop at all. I was immediately exposed. - Anarchist Gregory (G.K. Chesterton)
